Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Wavertree
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:30am–4:00pm, Fri 8:30am–2:00pm

Chalk Education is proud to be working with a specialist setting that supports children and young people with a range of complex needs and visual impairments. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team and make a positive difference in the lives of pupils.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children with visual impairments and additional complex needs in both classroom and individual learning environments.
• Help deliver tailored learning activities that meet each pupil’s unique educational and personal development goals.
• Promote independence, communication, and confidence in pupils through patient and nurturing support.
• Work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to create an inclusive and safe learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience of supporting children with special educational needs, ideally including visual impairments and complex needs.
• A caring, flexible, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
