Chalk Education is delighted to be partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wokingham, Berkshire, to recruit a passionate Learning Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners, build their confidence, and help them achieve their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping children achieve their full potential. Working closely with teachers and pupils, you'll support learning across the classroom while providing additional guidance to individual pupils and small groups. You'll help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel confident to participate, develop new skills, and enjoy learning. A key part of the role will involve supporting pupils with mild Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements along the way.

We're looking for caring, enthusiastic, and committed individuals who have experience working with children and either hold an enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one, with support from Chalk Education if required. While previous SEND experience would be welcomed, it's not essential, as we value transferable skills from a range of backgrounds, including tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, youth work, care settings, and parenting.
