The Role:
Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves supporting small groups and providing one-on-one assistance to enhance the learning experiences of students.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Work collaboratively with teachers to support the educational development of SEND students.
- Provide tailored assistance to individuals and small groups, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure holistic support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEND and effective support strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are preferred.

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
