Location: Liverpool City Centre Primary School

Pat Rate: £85-£90 Per Day

Start date: ASAP

 

The Role:

Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves supporting small groups and providing one-on-one assistance to enhance the learning experiences of students.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers to support the educational development of SEND students.
  • Provide tailored assistance to individuals and small groups, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure holistic support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEND and effective support strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are preferred.

  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Commitment to Safeguarding
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
