Are you passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed? Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students? If so, we want to hear from you!
An enthusiastic and forward-thinking primary school in Basingstoke is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to provide support both academically and emotionally. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, helping students overcome barriers to learning, boost their confidence, and thrive in a positive and inclusive environment.
As a Learning Mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere for a diverse range of students, including those with mild SEND. Your role will include providing tailored support to individuals or small groups, ensuring that each child has the chance to succeed both academically and personally. Whether you’re assisting with classroom activities, delivering one-on-one sessions, or collaborating closely with teachers and parents, you’ll be key to empowering students to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children and possess a clean DBS certificate, which is essential for the role. If you don’t have one yet, don’t worry—we can assist you in obtaining it! Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is highly valued and would be a fantastic bonus.
