Chalk Education are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and supportive specialist provision in Chester, seeking an experienced and resilient Learning Mentor to work with pupils aged Primary through to College level who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, starting as a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role offers a daily rate of £95, and if taken on permanently, the annual salary is £24,000 – with the added bonus of being paid during school holidays.

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour
- Proven experience working with SEMH and/or ASD
- Confident managing behaviour and building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Ability to support both in and out of the classroom across a range of age groups
- Must be available full time and committed to a consistent, long-term role
