Chalk Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor to support primary school pupils in Bolton.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to support students' emotional and academic development.
• Assist pupils in developing positive learning habits and social skills.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
• Help students manage challenges such as low confidence, behavioral difficulties, and attendance issues.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.

Requirements

•  Experience working with children in an educational or mentoring capacity.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and families.
•  Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
