We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Greenford area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school is rated Good by Ofsted and is recognised for its strong leadership, supportive staff team, and positive learning environment where pupils are engaged, well-behaved, and eager to learn. Staff are well supported, with a clear focus on professional development and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons and cover classes across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required
- Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional development
- Work closely with class teachers to plan and assess learning
- Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence delivering lessons across the primary age range
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
