Graduate Teaching Assistant – Liverpool

Location: Liverpool
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm | Term Time Only

The Role:

As a Graduate TA, you'll play a vital role in supporting classroom learning, both 1:1 and in small groups. You’ll be involved in:

• Assisting pupils who need additional support with learning
• Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive environment
• Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging activities

This is a fantastic stepping stone for graduates who want meaningful experience before pursuing teacher training or further study.

You Must Have:

• A university degree (any subject)
• Proven experience working with children (e.g. in schools, nurseries, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, etc.)
• A confident, patient and proactive attitude
• A genuine passion for education and helping children thrive
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
