Geography Teacher – Secondary | Bolton

Pay Rate £130 - £225.62

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bolton on a long-term temporary basis, covering from September 2025 through at least one full academic term (with the possibility of extension or permanent placement).

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

• Teaching Geography to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Creating a classroom environment that encourages active learning and student engagement

• Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Participating in departmental planning and wider school activities

Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or is an experienced ECT with a strong subject knowledge in Geography

• Has previous classroom experience teaching Geography at secondary level

• Is confident managing behaviour and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

• Works well as part of a team and contributes to a positive departmental ethos

• Is committed to student development and well-being
