Job Description

This role will involve delivering creative and interactive Geography lessons to Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 students in an engaging way. You will work with the Humanities team to provide a high level of education.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

This large Secondary School in Reading was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and caters for students aged 11 to 18 years old. They aim to offer a rich curriculum while helping young people to reach their full potential.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• PGCE or Teaching qualification, preferably with QTS or QTLS
• Excellent subject knowledge, specialising in Geography
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students in a UK school
• Strong behaviour management
• Flexible approach and ability to differentiate
