We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic primary TA's to join supportive and vibrant schools across Sefton.

As a General TA, you will be working alongside class teachers to support the learning and development of children across Key Stage 1 and 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education and helping young children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivering lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
• Support small groups of children with classroom activities.
• Help with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students during breaks, lunchtimes, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
• A patient, positive, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
• Good communication skills, both with children and colleagues.
• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if required).
