Pay Rate £150- £190 per day, dependent on experience

A vibrant and happy, ‘Outstanding’ two-form entry Primary school based in the heart of Islington, N1, are in need of a Nursery Teacher to take on a lovely Nursery class on a full time basis from January 2024. This will be a full time long term role to continue on until the end of the academic year (July 2025)

Job Description

The ideal Nursery/Early Years Teacher will be dedicated to nurturing young minds and helping pupils thrive. The role will enable you to make a significant impact on pupils’ academic journey. The class currently has around 15 children and a few children with needs and high EAL/speech needs.

The school in would prefer the successful Teacher to have had previous experience as a class teacher. However, they are open to considering ECT’s who are keen to start their teaching career and work hard. Support will be provided and implemented by the senior leadership team and teaching peers.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and use creative approach
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
