SEND Teaching Assistant – Behavioural Unit (Primary)
Location: St. Helens
Full Time · Long Term · Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm · Term Time Only
Chalk Education is currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in St. Helens, working within a specialist behavioural support unit. This is a rewarding long-term role supporting children with behavioural needs and Autism, starting as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs and Autism
- Can build positive, trusting relationships and implement effective behaviour strategies
- Works well as part of a team and shows resilience, patience, and empathy
- Is available full time on a long-term basis

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
