Pay Rate: £90-£95 per day

About the Role

Chalk Education is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Woking, Surrey, dedicated to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student is supported to succeed. We are seeking caring, committed Behaviour Mentors to join their team and help students reach their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, personalised learning.
  • Build strong, positive relationships that encourage emotional and social development.
  • Monitor student progress and share insights with the teaching team.
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and external professionals to deliver effective support plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, ideally those with SEMH or SEND.
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and constructively.
  • Strong understanding of positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and solution-focused.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
