Behaviour Mentor/SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (ASD & ADHD)
Location: Mill Hill, NW7 | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Until July 2025
A warm, inclusive, and welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Mill Hill (NW7) is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor/SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviour. This rewarding role starts ASAP and will run through to the end of the academic year (July 2025).
Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you'll be a vital support system for the pupil, fostering strong relationships and creating a structured, positive learning environment. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCO, and support staff to:
- Implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
- Develop and execute individual behaviour and learning plans.
- Promote social and emotional well-being, encouraging positive behaviours throughout the school day.
- Uphold the highest safeguarding and welfare standards for all students.

We are searching for a passionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant who thrives in a team setting and is motivated by making a meaningful impact on students’ lives. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting students with SEMH needs (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health).
- Strong behaviour management skills with a calm, patient approach.
