Setting: Mainstream Primary School (EYFS)

Pay: From £94 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young children with additional needs?
Chalk Education is working with a forward-thinking mainstream primary school in South Liverpool to recruit a dedicated SEN TA for a full-time, long-term role. You will be providing 1:1 support for a child in EYFS with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay.
The Role:
- Full-time, long-term position in a supportive EYFS setting
- 1:1 support for a child with additional needs
- Assisting with feeding and personal care as required
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Using tailored strategies to support communication, sensory needs, and learning
Requirements:
- Proven EYFS experience (essential)
- Comfortable with personal care and feeding responsibilities
- Understanding of ASD and Global Developmental Delay
- Empathetic, patient, and nurturing approach
- Able to work collaboratively in a team
