1:1 Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School (SEND Support)

Location: L19, Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP
Full-Time (Monday – Friday, term-time only)

Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a welcoming mainstream primary school based in the L19 area of Liverpool.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with SEND, helping them to access learning and engage in classroom activities.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies that meet the child’s individual needs.
• Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND (essential).
• Patient, nurturing, and resilient with strong communication skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
