Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – KS2 (Year 6)
Location: Liverpool, L8
Contract: Full-time (8:30am-3:30pm) - ASAP start until July 2026

Chalk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 (KS2) class.

This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with the expectation that the successful candidate can commit to the role until July 2026.

The Role:

• Providing in-class support to the Year 6 teacher and pupils
• Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
• Supporting pupils with their academic progress, behaviour, and emotional development
• Commitment to safeguarding
• Assisting with SATs preparation and end-of-key-stage transition
• Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting pupils in KS2, ideally Year 6
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
• The ability to commit full time from ASAP until July 2026
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply via Chalk)
