As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting both pupils and teachers, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Working alongside the class teacher, you'll assist in delivering creative lessons and classroom activities while providing tailored one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential.

You'll build positive relationships with pupils, encourage confidence and independence, and adapt your support to meet a range of learning needs. Working collaboratively with the wider school team, you'll also play an important role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Every day is different, so enthusiasm, flexibility, and a proactive approach are key to succeeding in this rewarding role.

A clean DBS and prior experience working with children are essential for this role to ensure a safe and nurturing environment. If needed, we can assist you with obtaining a DBS. Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, sports settings, or similar classroom environments.
