Description

Chalk Education is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1–KS4 SEN provision, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Mold

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience supporting SEMH students and confidence working with challenging behaviour across KS2 and KS3.

Role Details

  • Long-term, temporary position
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Term time only
  • Daily pay rates from £95

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SEMH pupils across KS2 and KS3 within an SEN setting
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support
  • Help create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with SEMH students
  • Ability to manage and support challenging behaviour
  • Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
