Description
We are seeking a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school with a strong SEN provision in Essex. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The school is a Good Ofsted-rated setting, praised for its positive learning environment, strong leadership, and inclusive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs. The SEN team works closely together to ensure children are well supported both academically and emotionally.
The Role:

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-
Assisting pupils with EHCPs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
-
Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
-
Implementing strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
-
Supporting behaviour and social development
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
-
Available full time and able to start ASAP
