Chalk Education is recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students in a specialist setting in Knutsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in supporting young people with challenging behaviours to make a real difference in their educational journey.

The Role:

• Provide tailored support to secondary students with SEMH needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Support positive behaviour management strategies.
• Help to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working with challenging behaviours is essential.
• Experience supporting secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
• A Level 2/3 qualification in Teaching Assistance is ideal, but not essential.
• Resilient, patient, and committed to supporting young people.
