Chalk Education is recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students in a specialist setting in Knutsford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in supporting young people with challenging behaviours to make a real difference in their educational journey.
The Role:
- Provide tailored support to secondary students with SEMH needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
- Support positive behaviour management strategies.
- Help to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working with challenging behaviours is essential.
- Experience supporting secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
- A Level 2/3 qualification in Teaching Assistance is ideal, but not essential.
- Resilient, patient, and committed to supporting young people.
