Chalk Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in Huyton. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, with potential to continue throughout the academic year.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Offer general classroom assistance across various year groups.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support learning plans.
• Help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

About You:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in an educational or care setting.
• Confidence supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs.
• A nurturing and patient approach with strong communication skills.
• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
