Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in the Knowsley area from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role—perfect for someone passionate about making a difference in children's education.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Roles are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and can be tailored to your experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping to create a safe and stimulating environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- A proactive, flexible and caring attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
