Description

Are you a qualified Teacher with the skills to enhance outcomes for children of diverse needs and abilities? Or are you a graduate with a subject specialism and a passion for sharing your expertise with young people?

Chalk Education is working with several education providers across Surrey and Hampshire who are looking for Teachers to fill permanent, temporary, full-time, and part-time positions in secondary schools.

The daily pay rate is based on experience and qualifications—ECT’s are strongly encouraged to apply!

 

Job Description

You will be required to plan and deliver creative and interactive lessons in an engaging way to groups of students with mixed ages and abilities. You will need the ability to cover a range of subjects throughout the curriculum and require good knowledge across your specialist area.

Excellent behaviour management is necessary yet with a calm but firm approach. You will always be working alongside a supportive staff team ensuring a positive and safe learning environment is provided for all students.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be qualified to teach the UK National Curriculum
  • Have experience of teaching based in the UK
  • Have UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have experience of working with students that have additional needs
  • Be flexible and able to change plans according to pupils' needs
  • Primary or Secondary Specialist
  • Subject Specialism.

Additional requirements:

  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
