Are you a passionate graduate eager to support children with speech, language, and communication needs? A nurturing and vibrant primary school in Chingford (N4) is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team and make a genuine impact – starting ASAP.
The Role
As a key member of the school’s SEN support team, you will work closely with small groups of Key Stage 1 pupils who face communication challenges. Under the guidance of an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, your role will focus on developing:
- Speech sounds
- Synthetic phonics
- Narrative and expressive language skills

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties
- Proficiency in PECS and Makaton
