SEND Teaching Assistant – Bootle
Location: Bootle, Merseyside
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (Starting after October Half Term)

Chalk Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Bootle. This is a full-time, long-term position starting after the October half term, with the potential to continue for the rest of the academic year.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people. You will be supporting a small group of boys who need encouragement, structure and consistency to help them reach their full potential both academically and socially.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or SEND setting
• Be patient, empathetic and resilient
• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Be committed to helping every pupil succeed and thrive
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning both in and outside the classroom
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of tailored activities
• Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
