SEND Teaching Assistant – Bootle
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Chalk Education is recruiting for a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bootle. This school supports pupils aged 3–15 years with a wide range of complex needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and other additional needs.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same – you’ll be supporting pupils in the classroom, helping with learning activities, and providing essential personal care when required.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) OR transferable experience from a care work background
• Comfortable and confident providing personal care (essential)
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships
• A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting children with complex needs

Qualifications:
Formal teaching qualifications are not required – we welcome applicants with relevant experience from education, care, or health sectors.
