Are you an experienced Secondary Teacher who is able to engage students with a range of SEND and barriers to learning?
Chalk Education are recruiting for a qualified Teacher to work within a SEND unit in a mainstream secondary school setting in Sheffield. This role will predominantly be working with Year 7 students who have a range of different needs and abilities. The school offers highly individualised learning plans, and the ideal candidate will be able to deliver sessions to small groups, as well as offer 1:1 support and lead CPD to other departments within the setting.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
To be considered for this Secondary Teacher role you will need:
- PGCE or teaching qualification (any subject specialism welcome)
- Experience working with individuals with SEND
- Excellent behaviour management
- Flexible and calm approach, with a caring attitude

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
