Are you passionate about teaching students with Additional Learning Needs and looking for a new opportunity?
We are working closely with a school in South Liverpool who are looking to Chalk to recruit a special needs teacher.
The children are of primary age and are working at mainstream curriculum level. The young people have attachment disorders alongside high functioning autism.
The aim of this provision, is to equip their young people with the skills to go into mainstream secondary schools.
Job Description:
- Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
- Observing and assessing pupils’ development where required
- Alongside the existing staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
Additional requirements:
- Qualified Teacher (however NQTs will be considered)
- Suitable References
- Commitment to Safeguarding (a free course will be provided)
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (we can help with this)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
