SEND Support Assistant – Liverpool

Chalk Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, term-time role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Location: Walton, Liverpool
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Immediate start – July 2026
Potential: Permanent opportunity available

The Role

You will be supporting children with Autism and SEMH needs, helping them to access learning, develop emotionally, and thrive within a structured and nurturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience supporting children or adults with Autism and/or SEMH
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong understanding of behaviour support strategies
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting individual needs
• Available for a full-time, long-term role
