Are you passionate about helping children with Autism reach their potential?
A welcoming 2 form entry primary school in N22, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their developing Resource Base, supporting a small group of pupils in Years 2 and 3 who follow personalised learning programmes.
You’ll be part of a nurturing, inclusive team that values creativity, initiative, and genuine care for every child’s progress.
The Role:
- Support pupils with ASD and high needs, both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Lead short sessions from lesson plans under teacher guidance.
- Use initiative to respond to pupils’ individual needs and EHCP goals.
- Bring a warm, enthusiastic presence to the classroom.
- Provide personal care for one pupil (including regular changing).
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism or complex learning needs.
- Confident leading small-group or 1:1 activities.
- Patient, adaptable, and positive under pressure.
- Previous experience in a special school or resource base is a bonus.
