Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Chester
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Job Description:
Chalk education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term basis in a school in Chester. This role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Support pupils with personal, social, and academic development.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
