Description

We are recruiting for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in the Lambeth area. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with a clear temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support within the classroom and intervention spaces
  • Supporting emotional regulation, engagement and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to implement support strategies
  • Helping pupils access the curriculum and build confidence in learning

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working as an SEN TA / Learning Support Assistant in a primary setting
  • Confident supporting children with additional needs
  • Calm, patient and consistent approach to behaviour support
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Passionate about inclusion and making a difference
