Position: L3 Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day (DOE)
Location: Manchester (Primary School) Contract Type: Long term, full time contract, Starting 19/01/26
Are you a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in schools? Chalk Education is working with primary and secondary schools in South Manchester to appoint dedicated SEN TAs who support children with a range of learning needs. In these roles, you’ll help create inclusive classrooms where every child can thrive, providing targeted support to enhance learning, behaviour, and personal development.
You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils’ academic and personal development, providing one-to-one or small group support, assisting with learning programmes, behaviour management, and promoting inclusion and engagement across the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with diverse learning needs and disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- Be confident supporting literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas
- Teaching Assistant Qualification (ideally L3)
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to meet individual pupil needs
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for the role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
- Eligibility to work in the UK - No Visa Sponsorship
- Teaching Assistant Qualification
