Description
A nurturing and inclusive primary school in the Streatham area of South London is seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for an experienced SEN professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised learning for pupils with additional needs.
The Role:

Teaching and supporting pupils with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, and speech and language needs
-
Planning and delivering individualised and small-group lessons tailored to pupils’ EHCPs
-
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
-
Working closely with the SENCo, class teachers, support staff, and external professionals
-
Creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
-
Managing behaviour positively and supporting pupils’ emotional well-being
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary or specialist setting
-
Strong understanding of EHCPs and inclusive teaching strategies
-
Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Right to work in the UK and available for an immediate start
