Chalk Education is proud to be working with a specialist Secondary Alternative Provision (AP) supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking passionate, resilient, and committed teachers who are motivated to make a real difference in young people’s lives.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to secondary-aged learners in an AP/SEMH setting.
- Create supportive, trauma-informed classroom environments.
- Work closely with a strong pastoral and SEN team to meet individual learner needs.
- Contribute to the wider school community, supporting behaviour regulation and student wellbeing.
Requirements
- Preferred: QTS or PGCE
- Considered: PTLLS / QTLLS (with adjusted pay scale)
- Experience within SEMH, PRU, AP, or SEN settings is highly desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and a positive, restorative approach.
- A proactive, empathetic, and adaptable nature.
