Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with QTS to work within a specialist SEND provision supporting college-aged students.

This rewarding role involves working with learners who have high ability alongside complex needs, including physical disabilities. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Support students with complex learning needs and physical disabilities
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and other professionals
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching approaches where necessary

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working with students with complex needs and physical disabilities
• Experience within SEN/SEND settings
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
