A supportive and inclusive primary school in the Streatham area of South London is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties

• Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom

• Implementing strategies from EHCPs and working closely with the class teacher and SENCo

• Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support

• Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (essential)

• A patient, calm, and empathetic approach

• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Eligible to work in the UK and available for an immediate start
