Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
About the Role:
Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in our Nottingham school.
This position is aimed at applicants to provide a positive role models for students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assist with individual and group interventions tailored to students’ unique learning and emotional needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through guidance and encouragement.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning plans.
- Observe, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to relevant team members.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A positive LSA with experience working with children or young people.
- Calm, patient, and understanding, with a genuine passion for supporting student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour.
