SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Primary SEMH School (Childwall)

Chalk Education is seeking a committed and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a primary SEMH school in the Childwall area from January. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with pupils who require consistency, strong boundaries and a calm, supportive presence in the classroom. The role involves supporting learning, regulating behaviour, and helping pupils manage emotions to stay engaged in school life.
Important Requirement:
Due to the need to supervise pupils in the boys’ changing rooms, this post requires a male member of staff, in line with a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR).
Please note: there is no personal care involved in this role.
