SEMH Teaching Assistant - Chelmsford
Pay Rate £95 - £120 DOE

Chalk are recruiting for this SEND Teaching Assistant position which is a long term, full time placement starting immediately and is the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic SEND School in the Chelmsford area.
Job Description
This role will involve supporting students with special educational needs, specifically SEMH, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. You will be instrumental in helping students gain confidence, develop essential life skills, and realise their full potential.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
This SEND School is an extremely popular, academically successful 11-18 school in Chelmsford that has an excellent reputation within the community. They opened as a purpose built provision for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Relevant SEN training or qualification(s)
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Behaviour Management
- Passion for working with children
