Chalk Education is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Knutsford. This long-term position offers the opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing structure, guidance, and encouragement throughout the school day. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll help students manage challenges, stay engaged, and build confidence in their learning. Each day is varied, requiring patience, adaptability, and a steady approach.

The role is ideal for someone who is motivated by seeing real progress, enjoys practical problem-solving, and is confident in building positive relationships. Experience in SEN, youth work, sports coaching, or similar settings would be useful, but resilience and strong communication skills are just as important.

This position starts on 1st October 2025 and offers a daily rate of £95, alongside the chance to make a lasting difference in a specialist education setting.
