Chalk Educationis working alongside a prevision who is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. We are seeking passionate and dedicated teaching assistants to join their team.
Successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEND and others who may be experiencing behavioural challenges, helping them to develop positive social and emotional skills and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
- Develop and implement individual behaviour support plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary.
- Work closely with teaching staff to create a positive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student behaviour and progress.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or mentoring capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
