Chalk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming SEN school in Warrington to recruit an experienced School Caretaker to start as soon as possible following a staff resignation.

This is a short-term temporary supply role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 11:00am & 2:30pm – 6:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 11:00am & 2:30pm – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school premises daily
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks
• General site maintenance and basic repairs
• Cleaning duties to ensure high standards are maintained
• Supporting the overall upkeep and presentation of the school grounds and buildings
• Responding promptly to site-related issues

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a School Caretaker, Site Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a school environment
• Strong practical and maintenance skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
