Chalk Education are thrilled to be working in partnership with a primary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire, highly regarded for its commitment to nurturing a positive, inclusive learning environment, to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Whether you have proven experience in KS1 or KS2, or you’re an ECT looking for the ideal school to start your teaching career, this is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a supportive, forward-thinking setting.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative lessons in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, creating a positive and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported, and tracking pupil progress to help each child reach their full potential. You will work alongside a dedicated team of staff, support professionals, and families, and contribute to school life, events, and professional development activities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a KS1 or KS2 classroom (although ECTs are encouraged to apply). We are looking for someone with a strong classroom presence, a genuine passion for teaching, and a positive, proactive attitude. The ability to work well as part of a team is essential, along with a clean DBS and the right to work in the UK.
