Job Description:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Profound and PMLD. You will work closely with the class teacher and therapists to implement individualized learning programs tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student is valued and encouraged. You will contribute significantly to the development of students' social, communication, and behavioural skills. Ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people, in collaboration with the staff, is a key responsibility.

We are looking for:

  • Experience: Proven experience working with children with Complex Needs and PMLD.
  • Positive Attitude: A proactive approach to behaviour management with a philosophy of respect and encouragement.
  • Empathy and Passion: Patience, empathy, and a true passion for supporting and nurturing children’s development.
