Pay Rate £90 - £110 per day
An outstanding primary school based in Ealing, W7, are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a year 5 child with Downs Syndrome. The role will start ASAP and continue until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
Job Description
The ideal special needs teaching assistant will have experience of supporting Downs Syndrome children on a 1:1 basis. As the successful special needs teaching assistant, you will have previous experience working with Primary aged children and be passionate about SEND.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday. For the right candidate, there is the strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. The hours of work for the role will be 08.30 am - 3.30 pm.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Will have experience working with children with Down syndrome
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Dedicated and passionate about working with SEND
