SEN Teacher - Basildon
Pay Rate £185 - £290 DOE
Are you an experienced SEND Teacher? Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs within education and looking for a new opportunity?
Chalk are recruiting for this SEND Teacher position which is a long term, full time placement starting immediately and is the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic SEND School in the Basildon area.
Job Description
This role will involve teaching students aged 5-18 with special educational needs, such as ASD, SEMH, and complex learning needs. You will be instrumental in helping students gain confidence, develop essential life skills, and realise their full potential.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Relevant SEN Teaching Qualification (QTS)
- Experience supporting and teaching children with additional needs
- Behaviour Management
- Passion for working with children

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
