Job Title: Outreach Support Worker – School-Based (Bootle)
Location: Bootle
Salary: £97–£107 per day
Contract Type: Temporary / Daily Rate full time long term

About the Role:
Chalk Education is seeking a compassionate and motivated Outreach Support Worker to join our team working directly in schools in the Bootle area. This role provides vital support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning, improve wellbeing, and achieve their potential.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students in school settings to provide emotional and practical support
• Liaise with school staff to identify and address individual student needs
• Support children and young people in developing confidence, resilience, and social skills
• Promote positive relationships, attendance, and engagement in learning
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to supervisors

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or community setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to problem-solving

Additional requirements:

• References confirming suitability for role
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
